Seafood was perhaps the hardest food category to give up when I recently became a vegan. I live on the Florida gulf coast and one of my favorite lunch orders was a blackened grouper sandwich.

I changed to a plant-based diet solely for health reasons but I don't think that treating myself to seafood a couple of times a month will have a negative effect.
